YARMOUTH Old Gaffers weekend festival got off to a good start on Friday 30th May after being launched by around the world yachtsman Sir Robin Knox-Johnson. The festival was a huge success with record attendance for the second year running. Janet Haire, festival publicity officer, thanked Wightlink and the many other sponsors who helped make the weekend such a huge success. Planning has already started on next years event.
